Sunshine

Gosh! I’m SO looking forward to spring. I can’t wait for the magnolias to bloom, the grass to turn green, the temperature to go up, and I even can’t wait for the smell of a fresh spring rain.

I like living in Raleigh. The weather this winter has been absolutely perfect – not too cold or damp, definitely not frigid like it is up north. Still, I’m looking forward to when spring time hits.

Why am I rambling on about the weather? Well, on Friday for the first time since the fall, we were able to take the kids outside to just enjoy the weather at the end of the school day. It was real nice to be able to do that. They enjoyed their “free time” and we teachers enjoyed the sunshine.

Just some random thoughts for today…

Spring? What’s that? Tee hee! You know we don’t get four seasons here! You also know that if you don’t like the weather right now, wait ten minutes and it will change! Just a little exaggeration there. D.
